It's so good and yummy and amazing everyone should go there

My husband and i frequently eat here. The portions are huge. I never can finish my plate. Coffee is awesome. A real @home cup of coffee mug size is given. The atmosphere is rather cozy/casual and always clean. I enjoy speaking with the head cook. She always makes me laugh.

This is a gem of a place.If you judge it by the looks from the outside, you'll be put off but don't judge it by it's appearance. Once you make your way inside. If you can find a parking spot, you'll be amazed. The staff is super attentive and genuinely friendly. You can't go wine with the food here.

Went there for breakfast. It was busy and we sat at the counter. Service was very good. The food was good. I liked the selection and prices. Parking is limited, you might have to park in the street at busy times. The place is small but quaint. Has an old time feel to it. It is only open for breakfast and lunch. I would go back.

Love this place old school diner car straight out of 1963 Americana. Food and service is really good here. There's usually no wait here during the week, weekends is another story. I believe their closed on Tuesday. AND IT'S STRICTLY CASH ONLY!!!

Get here on Saturday morning by 9:30 before the crowd rushes in! She truly loves what she cooks, and she loves the people she cooks for. There are usual daily specials including creative pancakes, which are massive, as well as other traditional American fare like baked oatmeal, French toast, delicious omelettes, etc. It is cozy and casual, a pleasure to visit. 🥞

Delish! The cheese was melted in the shape of a heart...does it get any better than that?

If I'm anywhere near this place again I will definitely stop in for a meal. Parking lot is small but the portions are big. You can tell the cooks have their heart in what they do. Waitress was very polite and attentive. Everything we had was delicious. If you're close by and hungry go here.

The saying goes "eat to live, not live to eat" but with food this good I find that a little hard to follow. Their biscuits and gravy are phenomenal and the cook room combo, essentially a Reuban, is the best I have had on this island. I would report even if the service was bad, but if course the staff is fantastic. Quick to get seated, quick to take an order, and most importantly, good is served before you even know it. I love this place and will continue to receive my patronage until I leave this island.

I was definitely pleasantly surprised by the food and service when I first came here and continued to be amazed. The outside of this place looks questionable as I heard before looks can be deceiving. I ordered the huevos rancheros which was delicious! The second time around we ordered the red velvet pancakes and they were amazing!!! Definitely recommend to come early there can be a wait. Which is worth waiting. Also the staff all are very friendly.

Always great food, waits on the weekends as would be expected, minimal parking mostly on street when busy.

Friendly staff, fast service, delicious food, large food portions and very reasonably priced.My daughter and I went out for brunch on a Sunday morning to celebrate her passing her road test and there was no wait, we were seated immediately. Don't let the appearance of this place dissuade you. It's an old building. Very small. But the food is really good, with huge portions. Friendly service. Very unlike any of the big commercial diners on L.I. It has more of a rural, country feel to it. Honestly it felt like I was on vacation for an hour.

We love this restaurant. It’s a perfect stopover from the ferry. My cheeseburger was perfectly cooked and the seasoned fries were terrific. My husbands Cook house combo sandwich described as really good. He doesn’t often compliment the food. Service was excellent. Bathrooms spotless.

This place never ceases to amaze me when it comes to breakfast or lunch. When ordering the home fries, get them deep fried, they're even better! The fresh brewed tea, and omelettes are amazing, as well as the potato salad and half pound hamburgers. The only drawback to this tiny place is they take cash only, no cards. Definitely check it out!!

Rude staff! When we ordered our omelet we asked the waitress for ONE pancake she quoted $1. When the bill came she charged us $7. Tried to get flavor in our coffee, huge attitude! No smiles, no eye contact, servers always looked annoyed. You should not work with the public if you don't have any customer service skills.

Went for the first time today for a late breakfast. Great atmosphere for a classic diner feel. Do not let the outside fool you, for the inside is another world. I got their Rainbow Cookie Pancakes. The staff are very friendly, home-like feel, cash only, and they serve breakfast & lunch all hours they're open. They close at 2:30 pm and are closed on Tuesdays. For a quick lunchtime bite or family breakfast, I definitely recommend this place to try for any Long Islander. Support local, independent businesses!

What a great place. We went there for breakfast and the food was delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and the place looked like authentic 50s-60s decor.

The cook is consistently great! (3 years so far). The staff friendly and helpful. Old time diner - look and feel. Appropriate - large sizeportions. Parking limited in lot but spots available very close by. This is the place your looking for. . . Really.

We love, love eating at this diner, nostalgic of an era long ago. The chef is visible from the booths that are big and comfortable. The variety of breakfast and lunch entrees are numerous. Huge made to order pancakes and eggs are accompanied by crispy bacon and sausage links. The coffee is delicious and robust. Staff are friendly and the parking lot is small so it fills up fast. You can park on the street. They only take CASH so be prepared. An ATM is available.
